Hey,
It’s me again. 2 songs in 1 week for you. That’s some kind of record…
This song is called Archibald the Chicken and it’s the 4th installment in the upcoming collage-album.
This is a recycled song I found on the cutting room floor. It was a piece I composed for a Dreamworks children’s show called “Archibald’s Next Big Thing”. A show about a chicken boy.
They didn’t end up using it but it fits right in with this strange record so I thought, why not?
It’s sounds like Postal Service vocals over a Sufjan Stevens soundtrack with a melody I probably stole from My Morning Jacket.
It might be the shortest song I’ve ever written.
And like I said last week, here is the counterpart to the Modern American History drawing that was used on that cover.
Equally as crazy, drawn at the same time as the other drawing, but this one seemed to fit the vibe for Archibald the Chicken more. Even though the other one had chickens.

More to come!
Cheers,
Ty
